Family Services
The Family Services provides a range of early intervention, counselling and practical support services for young people and their family members.
All direct services have a focus on improving family relationships, reducing family conflict and stress and re-engaging or maintaining young people’s participation in family, education, training, employment and the community
Adolescent and Family Counselling Project

This Project targets young people aged 12 to 17 years who are vulnerable, disadvantaged, homeless or those at risk of disadvantage or homelessness and their families. The Project focuses on assiting young people to face issues causing problems in their lives and will work towards reconciliation where family relationships have broken down. The Project is flexible and uses a number of methods to deliver services including case management.
Resourcing Adolescent and Families Team (RAFT)

The RAFT Program targets 12 to 17 year olds who are at risk of leaving home or who have been out of home for up to six weeks and who are vulnerable, disadvantaged, homeless or those at risk of disadvantage and homelessness and their families. The focus is on intervening as early as possible to maintain or restore family relationships.
Supporting Adolescents and Families Team (SAFT)

SAFT supports young people aged 12 to 24 years (inclusive) who are vulnerable, disadvantaged, homeless or those at risk of disadvantage and homelessness, with established or emerging mental health problems, and their families. SAFT will also provide support and assist to young people who have a parent, carer or other family member with a mental illness.
Newly Arrived Youth Specialists (NAYS)

This Program assists young people aged between 12 to 21 years who are vulnerable, disadvantaged, homeless or those at risk of disadvantage and homelessness and their families, who have migrated to Australia in the last five years. Priority is given to those who have entered Australia on humanitarian visas.
Supporting Young Parents Service (SYPS)

SYPS provides support to young people and young parents aged 14 to 24 years who are vulnerable, disadvantaged, homeless or those at risk of disadvantage and homelessness and their families.
The Service aims to provide support and assistance in developing positive lifestyles, interpersonal and relationship skills, cultural identity and parenting skills and confidence.
