Southern Youth and Family Services provide a range of accommodation options for young people.

They range from Crisis accommodation through semi-independent and supported accommodation and independent housing preparation.

 

Crisis Youth Refuge Illawarra

The 24 Hour crisis Service provides short term and emergency accommodation for young people between the ages of 14 and 17 years who are vulnerable, disadvantaged, homeless or those at risk of disadvantage and homelessness and their families.

The Service is flexible and can support young people through a range of service delivery methods including case management, case work and casual assistance.

Crisis Youth Refuge Goulburn (Warooga)

The Crisis Youth Refuge Goulburn provides emergency and short-term accommodation and support to young people aged from 15 -17 years inclusive who are vulnerable, disadvantaged, homeless or those at risk of disadvantage and homelessness and their families.

Link-Inn - Medium Term Accommodation

Link-Inn provides medium term accommodation for young people between the ages of 15 and 17 years who are vulnerable, disadvantaged, homeless or those at risk of disadvantage and homelessness and their families.

Link Inn provides self-contained, fully furnished private rooms with cooking facilities and bathroom, as well as communal living areas. Young people can live at Link-Inn until they are ready for more independent living and have found affordable and secure housing.

Young Independent People In Housing (YIPIH)

YIPIH provides medium term semi-independent supported accommodation for young people between the ages of 15 and 17 years who are vulnerable, disadvantaged, homeless or those at risk of disadvantage and homelessness and their families.

Priority access is offered to young women. Young people can live in this service until they are ready for more independent living situations.

Independent Housing Project (IHP)

IHP is an outreach service providing affordable medium to long term housing to young people between the ages of 18 and 23 who are vulnerable, disadvantaged, homeless or those at risk of disadvantage and homelessness and their families.

The accommodation varies, but includes furnished and unfurnished bed-sits and one bedroom single occupancy flats, through to furnished and unfurnished three bedroom flats and houses. The service supports couples and young people with children.
