Induction / Training for Volunteers, Student Placements and Casual Staff
Southern Youth and Family Services (SYFS) welcomes interested participants who want to:-
This is a course that aims to provide new and potential Volunteers, Students and Staff with essential information about the Organisation, the structure, philosophy and policies.
All interested people who are selected for the course must be have a current Working With Children Number and provide permission and identification for Federal Police Checks to be carried out. Participants must also hold a current drivers licence and have access to a fully comprehensively insured and registered vehicle.
Courses are held throughout the year and numbers are limited. There are prerequisites for attending the course. To obtain further information on courses – please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 4221 7700.
Each year Southern Youth and Family Services take a limited number of overseas and local University and TAFE students who are wishing to undertake educational placements with the Organisation.
If you studying and are interested in doing a placement with Southern Youth and Family Services as part of your educational program, please talk to your Student Placement Coordinator and ask them to contact us by email (link sends e-mail)
