Wollongong
Support for young people aged 12 to 17 years inclusive and their families, who are vulnerable, disadvantaged and homeless or at risk of poor outcomes. 18 to 24 years inclusive may be assisted where appropriate. It also provides support to young parents. The Project assists young people and families to pinpoint issues that may be causing problems in their lives and provides a range of flexible approaches aimed at creating safe and strong families and community connections.
We can visit you in your home, other community venues or our office across the Wollongong, Shellharbour and Kiama local government areas. Services provided include:
- Information and referral
- Practical assistance, advice and support
- Individual, family and group counselling
- Telephone counselling
- Conflict resolution and mediation
- Assessment, goal setting and case planning
- Liaison with other services
- Advocacy
This Project is funded by the NSW Government by the Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ) through the Community and Family Support Program.
