Support for families with children and young people aged up to 17 years who are vulnerable, disadvantaged and homeless or at risk of poor outcomes. It also provides support to young parents. The Project assists children, young people and families to pinpoint issues that may be causing problems in their lives and provides a range of flexible approaches aimed at creating safe and strong families and community connections.
We can visit you in your home, other community venues or our office across the Wollongong, Shellharbour and Kiama local government areas. Services provided include:
- Information and referral
- Practical assistance, advice and support
- Individual, family and group counselling
- Telephone counselling
- Conflict resolution and mediation
- Assessment, goal setting and case planning
- Liaison with other services
