Resourcing Adolescents to Gain Essentials Scheme (RAGE)

RAGE aims to provide assistance to access and maintain accommodation to young people aged 12 to 24 years in the Illawarra and Shoalhaven who are vulnerable, disadvantaged, homeless or those at risk to and to overcome barriers to improved life opportunities.

The Scheme provides:

  • Assessment
  • Support
  • Referral
  • Advocacy
  • Skills education
  • Information
  • Material and financial assistance
  • Support in the offer of material/financial assistance to gain essentials, ie. clothes, fridge, washing machine, travel fares, bond, moving expenses

 

RAGE is partly funded by the joint Commonwealth and State Funding Program, the Specialist Homelessness Service (SHS), through the Commonwealth and Family and Community Services (FaCS) also by the NSW Getting It Together Scheme.
