Treehouse Medium Term Accommodation

Treehouse provides medium term accommodation for young people between the ages of 16-17 years (younger people may be assessed in special circumstances) who are vulnerable, disadvantaged, homeless or those at risk of disadvantage and homelessness and their families.

Treehouse provides self-contained, fully furnished private rooms with communal cooking facilities and communal bathrooms and living areas.  Young people can live at Treehouse until they are ready for more independent living and have found affordable and secure housing.

This Service aims to link young people from short term accommodation to more independent living and to link them with other services. 

The Service provides:

  • Accommodation - medium term assessment     
  • Advocacy
  • Referral
  • Support
  • Social/living skills
  • Education
  • Information

Treehouse is funded under the NSW Government's SHS Services provisions.
